Create user profiles in Chrome

Many times we have a common computer that we use several people, either because it is the only one in the house or for some other need. In Google Chrome we have the possibility to create different user profiles and thus be able to select in each profile the preferences of your user. This option is also interesting to contemplate for the same person, since being able to have more than one open profile, we can separate our personal life from the professional and be able to work with both accounts in a simultaneous way. Another of the uses that we find to the different Chrome profiles is when creating a supervised user profile, if we need to have control over the web content that the minors of the example hunter visit.
Well, for all these cases, it is interesting to know how to have several profiles in the Google Chrome browser.
How to create user profile

Step 1


The first thing we have to do is open the browser. Once opened, we have to go to the menu that appears at the top of the browser and select settings.

Once inside the configuration we have to go to the "Other users" part - "Add people"

Now we have to configure the name of the new person or pseudonym that we are going to get as well as the image we want to select, if we want any.

Another option that we can select is to control and see the websites that these people visit, in case we need this function as we have already explained, for example it is very useful with minors.

Once the previous point is selected, we have to enter the associated Gmail address and select if we want to configure synchronization with the other accounts.

If we want to change from one profile to another user but we don't want to close the current session, we have to select the profile icon that is located at the top. There we can find a list with the user profiles that have been created on that computer. All we have to do is click the right mouse button and the profile we want to open. A new window will open automatically with the selected profile.

We can have as many profiles open as we deem appropriate as we can create as many as we need. As we have already explained, this function can help you in several interesting cases.
