Now and through its new update also recognizes them so you can listen to them as many times as you want.

The Google Assistant update has already been launched a few hours ago, therefore it is a matter of time before it becomes fully effective. Knowing the demand for this type of service, it will not be surprising that Google Assistant tells us the song that is playing within a very short time whatever our terminal, but for now this option will be available for compatible phones, such as the phone of Google Pixel 2 and its older brother Pixel 2 XL.

How can I find out if the new Google Assistant update already works on my phone?
Easy and simple. You will only have to ask the assistant by pressing the microphone icon “What song is playing?” And press and hold this button so that the assistant can listen to the song. After seconds of "listening" we can check if the option is already available on our phone. If this is the case, it will tell you directly the name of the song, artist or group that sings it, the disc to which it belongs and platforms from which you can listen to the song.
If not, the Google assistant shows that it has outputs for everything, and if it still cannot give you information by its own means it will suggest that you download the Shazam application to know this data.
